Modern advances in the fields of translation and interpretation technology have led to an instant global information era, thus enabling rapid knowledge transference and the possibility of progression for social development.
Translation and interpretation have become fundamental parts of online social and political activism, and the Ninth Annual International Translation Conference will consider the key areas of advancement that have influenced the way communication is achieved in this digital age.
Dr. Amal Al Malki, founding dean of CHSS said “As part of the conference, we invite enterprising translators to submit papers exploring the evolving translation market, which is increasingly relying on non-traditional means. The selected attendees will have an opportunity to present their findings at the conference.”
